Well, I'm glad we all have different opinions. I'm not sure it's hard to say what this means. If you notice the title IS called the Scientist. and Scientists invented the seat belt. Notice she took her belt off right before they crashed to put her jacket on. It was a vulnerable moment when she didn't have it on. And well, when they crashed, she flew and didn't survive apparently and he did; he had his seat belt on. You never know what'll happen and what moment in life.
