i have watched this video more times than i care to admit, but its just so good! you can really see and hear what stevie's feeling when she sings that song. in my opinion, this is the definitive version of the song, although the original version isn't that bad either.

I relate to this song so much, my husband was having affairs, but he always said he loved me and no he has never been able to get away from the woman who loves him.

stevie is singing this to lindsey...he's a brave man to not run away from her when she is singing ''you'll never get away, never get away''!

I know what you mean, but some people don't get it while they are here, but when they are gone, like Elvis. Her fans are the ones that knows her greatness, even the other members of FM knows now and gives her the respect she should have had years ago. Thank God she's off the stuff now, and Stevie is better than ever.

Past regrets for things left unsaid are very strong, that's why people leave each other, because they cannot put it into words, but emotions are very strong, this creates a great scope for writing songs, truth always hurts, but it helps to create brilliant songs.

This is one of afew songs I never tire of hearing!!! Stevie Nicks is one of the most underrated songwriters out there. Wasted on alot of todays generation. Gets slagged off for her past coke habit. But doesnt get the praise for coming clean. C McVie never gets the recognition she deserves for "Songbird"...Most people think Eva Cassidy wrote it as well as singing it.... |
