the development of FF12 put so much pressure on SquareEnix to maintain the series image, that they took 5 years to make it, and had to change to lead of the team twice for burnout reasons... FF XI has 500000 users, and contrarily to popular belief, has a KILLER storyline that will blow your mind... unfortunately it is hard as hell (WoW endgame is child play compared to this) and requires *several* thousands of hours to get somewhere! it's STILL second to WoW in terms of subscribers since 2002...

some interesting facts: Faye Wong accepted to sing this song BECAUSE Square paid her 1 millions $US but the overall budget of FF8 was a lot smaller than what FF7 required (roughly 30 million, mostly for marketing and new computer equipment o_O) the FF Spirits Within of 1999 cost about 300 million to produce, and resulted in HUGE losses... forcing to shutdown SquareUSA in Hawaii, and almost making SQUARE go bankrupt for that fiscal year... quite a lesson for them in fact... FF12 took 35M$ to make

lol... wolfex, Cloud from FF7 was not based on anyone... the guy from FF8 was based on Gackt and that's pretty much the only FF character ever based on a real person (if you count out the FF Spirits Within movie where they made the main guy a look alike of some american actor i think it was, it was on purpose, and it was a BAD idea hahaha)... Cloud is the main character of FF7... if you want to give some interesting information, try to actually give info that doesn't show pure ignorance :P
