This seminal band were wholly responsible for me absorbing all forms of experimental,underground,esoteric,psych,avant music.I first bought their lps at 15 and nobody really comes close jaki is THE best 'rock'drummer ever,you just cant argue with that and the rest of them are incredibly talented also.

I've always heard it as "I was born and I was bread", but this is Damo we're talking about, anything is possible. He's going to keep his despair. Sometimes it does sound more like born and dead, but Damo gets bored with singing the same words. Sometimes he sees Mushroom Head, sometimes skies are red (O yeah, paperhaus!)
